The queen room was very comfortable with great amenities, a delicious breakfast, and a lovely view of the forest through a roman-style window.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, room was functional & inviting. Location: the hotel was close enough to Easy to get into both Orvieto, the centre of Orvieto, and spectacular cliff. I tried some drinks at wine bar Enoteca al Duomo, located 25 minutes walk away.

Everything was excellent, so were exceptional views of the Cathedral. The room was functional and big with central heating, a multi-channel TV, and a writing table included. That was what I call relaxing base for a wedding celebration...

This was the third stay at LaBadia in less than a year due to the superb atmosphere of the ancient monestary that has been restored into a hotel. Fabulous. Orvieto shopping is also great; very charming town.

6Th century monastery - beautiful building. Very relaxing. Close to Orvieto, a "hilltown".
Restaurant is very pricey, but not the best meal we had while in Italy. Paid more for this than our room in Florence, but it wasn't as nice.

This hotel is in a quiet location in the countryside about 10 minutes drive from Orvieto's large southwest parking lot (Campo della Fiera). Hotel was formerly an old monastery - very cool ambiance. Excellent breakfast.
Comfortable enough room - had to open a window at night to cool off, but no bugs, so no problem.

The Town of Orvieto was as beautiful as any town in Italy.Booking a room at Hotel La Badia di Orvieto, was convenient ,on our way to Tuscany. The town it self was beautiful and should not be overlooked. The grounds at the hotel are stunning.
Our room size was far too small...there was not a comfortable chair to sit and read a map or write. The bed was hard and very uncomfortable. The linens were clean, as was the bathroom. The hotel is beautiful to look at,however the room did not match up. Personell could have been friendlier.
